Experience the beauty of the Glass House Mountains on this 7.5km guided hike that showcases the very best of this National Heritage registered landscape in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Breathe in the fresh air and immerse yourself in the ever-changing environment. Your local guide will point out the abundance of Australian flora and fauna including Banksia Spinulosa and forests of stringybark and blackbutt. You might spot some eastern grey kangaroos and whiptail wallabies, and you’ll almost certainly see (and hear) countless birds, such as the rainbow lorikeet and peregrine falcon, which inhabit the local area.
Your adventure starts at the base of Mount Tibrogargan and circles around to the Jack Ferris Lookout, with breath-taking views of the Glass House Mountains and the surrounding plains which are the ancestral home of the Jinibara and Kabi Kabi peoples, the Traditional Owners of this area.
Continue along the trail under lush tree canopy and hike back to the Mount Tibrogargan viewing circle where you can enjoy the sounds of nature whilst gazing at the majestic 364m high mountain.
We love that this hike is suitable for beginners and is offered all year round.
