Swim with whales in Jervis Bay

South Coast, New South Wales

Are you ready to dive into the vibrant underwater world of the Jervis Bay Marine Park on the NSW South Coast, for the chance to swim alongside the majestic humpback whale, playful fur seals, and common dolphins?

You’ll be up early for this 6-hour experience – meeting at 7am for a fabulous day on and in the water. To begin, enjoy a gentle creek cruise and a spot of bird watching before heading out to sea. Your expert guides will share insights into whale behaviours, the natural history of Jervis Bay, and fascinating Dreamtime stories. They’ll also explain how guests can connect deeply with the ocean through breathwork and mindfulness.

Once the skipper has found the best location, the team from Woebegone Freedive will accompany you during your swim, ensuring a safe and enjoyable encounter with these beautiful creatures. There’s also the chance to tune into “whale radio” and live stream whale sounds while waiting between dives!

In addition to close encounters with marine life, the tour includes sightseeing opportunities to stunning waterfalls and sea caves in the area. And you’ll also be nourished by a delicious homemade morning tea. What a way to spend a day!
