We love the Gold Coast for its sunshine and more than 70 kilometres of stunning beaches.
What we also love is the ‘green behind the gold’ - the lush hinterland, thriving National parks, cascading waterfalls and towering eucalypt forests. From Tambourine Mountain in the north to Lamington National Park in the south, it’s a place where you can unplug and reconnect with nature just minutes from the coast. Lamington National Park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, the most extensive subtropical rainforest in the world. There are more than 160 kilometres of walking trails, including the 21 kilometre Border track established nearly 100 years ago.
There is a host of organic farms and fresh produce markets in the region and it’s also the home of world-renowned health retreats and wellness centers where you can reset, recharge and take time for yourself.
