Warakirri Dining Experience

Mudgee, New South Wales
04 Apr 26

Under the helm of Founder and Executive Chef Sharon Winsor, a Ngemba Weilwan woman from Western NSW, the Warakirri Experience is bush food dining at its best.

Over four magical hours, you’ll enjoy Australian native food and beverages, all expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The menu varies with the seasons, meaning the freshest and most sustainable ingredients are used.

Hosted at Huntington Estate, this isn’t just a meal. It’s an unforgettable cultural experience that fosters a deeper appreciation for Australia’s Indigenous heritage.

Highlights

  • 4-hour dining experience with 5 courses and beverages.
  • The evening begins with a traditional smoking ceremony to cleanse the space and welcome guests to the table.
  • As you dine in a curated setting, your hosts will share the significance of each ingredient and the traditions behind the cooking methods.
  • Each guests receives a small gift to take home.

Making a difference

  • Warakirri is wholly Aboriginal owned and operated by Indigiearth, a business that champions the development and employment of Indigenous people.
  • Native and local ingredients are showcased in the experience.
  • Indgiearth’s foundation ‘NGUKIRRI’ supports Aboriginal women and families who have stillborn children by providing information and culturally sensitive care packs.

A word from your host
