Morning Meditation in Sydney – Global Wellness Day

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
13 Jun 26

Start your Global Wellness Day slowly with this free Sunrise Meditation by the water in Sydney’s Elizabeth Bay and hosted by experienced practitioner, Caroline Hey from Somatic Balance.108.

Inspired by gratitude, kindness, mindfulness and connection, the session will unfold in three gentle stages: a welcome circle, a guided 20-minute meditation, and a closing circle to reflect and reconnect.

Combining mindful breathing, gratitude and simple meditation techniques, the practice is welcoming, accessible and open to everyone – no experience, spiritual background or particular belief system required.

Highlights

  • This group-led session encourages meaningful community connection through shared silence and conversation; also fostering deeper human connection with post-meditation coffee and chat opportunities.
  • Both experienced meditators and first-timers are welcome to join the sessions.
  • Pre-meditation instructions are provided to everyone in attendance, and you are also welcome to do your own meditation/mindfulness practice if you already have one.
  • The session is held outside in nature, so please rug up – take something to sit on, adequate clothing and adequate self-care for all weather conditions.

Making a difference

  • Somatic Balance.108 offers free meditation sessions each month to create a free and accessible space for mindfulness and connection.
  • As part of their retreat offerings, the team is proud to collaborate with local farmers and Australian-owned providers to support the local community.
