Margaret River Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning from 7.30am-11.30am, and it’s the perfect place to source local, fresh and seasonal food directly from the people who have grown or produced it.

This Market connects hard working farmers to consumers; it connects consumers to their food source and the seasons; and it is a fantastic space and place for the community to connect every week.

Tip: Founded in 2001, this is one of the best produce markets in Australia.

Highlights

  • The Market is predominantly a fresh food market, and there are also stalls selling preserves, herbal teas, coffee and flowers.
  • It is a genuine Farmers’ Market where the farmer or producer works at the stall.
  • You might pick up some milk, cheese or yoghurt from Cheeky Cow Dairy.
  • Check out the seasonal preserves by Yallingup Gourmet and organic fruit and vegetables grown by Peter Horne.
  • There’s crunchy sourdough from Margaret River Bakery and handcrafted organic kombucha by Ale Wide Kombucha.
  • Don’t forget the protein – hand-line caught fish by Southwest Wilde Catch; or some pastured poultry and premium grass-fed goat meat from Rosa’s Ridge.
