Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney is an Australian-first, social impact collaboration between OzHarvest and Massimo Bottura’s Food for Soul.
The Refettorio brings together those in need with a warm, nourishing meal in a unique, community hub setting in Surry Hills, Sydney. Refettorio OzHarvest embraces the Food for Soul guiding principles of beauty, culture and hospitality to provide a dignified dining experience for Sydney’s most vulnerable.
Based on OzHarvest’s zero-waste philosophy, fresh rescued ingredients are transformed into gourmet meals made with love. The lunch menu changes weekly, prepared by OzHarvest chefs and served by wonderful volunteers. During the day service, anyone can come in for a free, three-course meal, no questions asked.
Over 300 customers enjoy this beautiful dining experience each week and they say it’s so much more than a meal; Refettorio OzHarvest nourishes bellies and hearts. It’s about conversations, comfort, connections, and community.
