Moonacres was born in 2006, when Phil Lavers and his wife Lisa decided to bring their young family back from Japan to Australia to enjoy a more family-oriented way of life.
On 140 acres of rich red basalt soil in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW, Phil and Lisa set about creating Moonacres Farm – a place to grow the best produce possible. And of course, that meant it would be organic.
The Moonacres family has since extended to 2 cafes and the Moonacres School, all dedicated to what they love – good food from good soil and sharing award-winning produce and the art of cooking with others.
Whether you join a farm tour, buy some of their fresh produce, cosy up for lunch in the Moonacres Kitchen, or learn tips and tricks from local chefs and artisans at the School, you’ll be supporting a family-owned business that really knows how to nurture the land and the community.
