Gumaraa is an Aboriginal tour group and education company based in the Illawarra region of the NSW South Coast and teaching traditional practices of the Dharawal and Yuin people.
The incredible team is led by Richard Campbell, and their aim is to empower, preserve and teach Aboriginal culture, increase recognition of Aboriginal culture in the wider Australian and global community, and to grow Indigenous tourism.
The offerings include fabulous programs and workshops designed for anyone in the community that would like to learn more about Aboriginal culture. You might like to enjoy a cultural canoe tour, a weaving workshop, a traditional art classes, or a bush tucker / medicine walk in the local area.
There are also experiences that are tailored for people of Indigenous heritage to reconnect with culture through learning their native language, mentoring programs, and much more.
