Bowral Honey Farm invites visitors to slow down and discover the fascinating world of bees, beekeeping and honey in the heart of the NSW Southern Highlands. Through guided tours, immersive experiences and hands-on workshops, guests gain a deeper appreciation for the vital role bees play, while tasting and purchasing pure, locally produced honey from the farm shop, open every weekend or after booked visits.
Bowral Honey Farm was founded by head teacher and beekeeper Hamish Ta-mé who fell in love with beekeeping as a teenager and is supported by a passionate team of skilled educators and facilitators who bring warmth, knowledge and storytelling to every visit.
With three beautiful teaching sites across the region, Bowral Honey Farm also hosts privately booked groups – great for corporate sessions, home-school groups and social clubs. We love that guests enjoy live hive observations, guided honey tastings and a gentle meditation and mindfulness experience among the bees, inspired by the long tradition of api-therapy. You’ll be nourished inside and out!
