Returning to Self

Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
17 Apr 27

Returning to Self, hosted by AM Mind Your Body in Adelaide, offers a gentle, trauma-informed experience designed to support nervous system regulation and a sense of safety in the body.

The 50-minute class weaves together slow, grounding yoga, simple breathwork, and a short, guided meditation, all focused on noticing rather than performing. Guided with a warm, invitational approach, you’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace, with choice and autonomy prioritised throughout.

With an emphasis on psychological safety, spacious pacing, and supportive language, this experience creates a calm environment to slow down, reconnect, and build awareness in a way that feels steady and sustainable.

This experience is held every week at 9.30am on Saturdays – spaces are limited and bookings are essential.

A word from your host

Annemarie Menne, Director & Founder
“My wellness focus centres on the mind-body connection – moving beyond cognitive strategies (that form an integral to my work as a psychologist) to include embodied practices that foster resilience, safety, and self-trust. I am particularly passionate about translating clinical knowledge into accessible, real-world tools that people can integrate into daily life, supporting meaningful, long-term wellbeing.”
