Located in the heart of historic downtown, the Hilo Farmers Market is a place to slow down, connect with local people and experience the island’s abundance. Wander beneath colourful canopies as growers, makers and food producers share the stories behind their work, celebrating community and sustainability. Alongside fresh produce, you’ll find artisan foods, handcrafted gifts and authentic Hawaiian keepsakes that reflect the creativity of the region. 

Whether you’re seeking meaningful souvenirs or simply a taste of everyday island life, this lively market offers an authentic and nourishing Hilo experience. 

It’s open daily from 7:00am to 3:00pm, with the largest markets held on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Getting there

Hilo Farmer’s Market is located at 20 Mamo Street, in downtown Hilo on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The meeting point is at the corner of Mamo Street and Kamehameha Avenue.
