Wajaana Yaam is an 100% Aboriginal owned and an award-winning business that offers immersive walking and stand-up paddle (SUP) tours on Gumbaynggirr Country, Coffs Coast.
Founded by Clark Webb, the team proudly takes guests on a cultural journey through the Solitary Islands Marine Park Waterways that allows them to learn and engage in Gumbaynggirr language, traditional bush medicines and traditional stories.
Wajaana Yaam translates to ‘from this country’ in the local Gumbaynggirr language. The knowledgeable and experienced guides are Gumbaynggirr people or Aboriginal people who have strong familial ties to Gumbaynggirr country. This ensures that guests enjoy an authentic cultural experience whilst also having a water-based wellness adventure.
Tours operate in picturesque and highly significant park settings including Coffs Creek, Moonee Creek and Red Rock Creek – you will have the chance to touch, feel and taste the soul of Country during a paddle in one of the beautiful marine park creeks.
