JamFactory

Adelaide, South Australia

Located in Adelaide’s West End Creative Precinct, with a secondary site at Seppeltsfield in the Barossa, JamFactory is a unique not-for-profit organisation championing the social, cultural and economic value of craft and design in daily life.

Crafts have been used as therapy for centuries and it is widely recognised that creative practices can offer us relief from the stress and anxieties of everyday living. Experience the therapeutic benefits for yourself at JamFactory and come away with a lifelong passion for craft and design.

Perhaps you’ve always been keen to learn how to make silver jewellery, try your hand at wheel throwing, build your own furniture or experience the art of glass blowing. JamFactory’s short course programs offer a range of classes in ceramics, woodworking, metal, jewellery and glass with four terms per year. They are an opportunity to immerse yourself in learning a new skill, connect with other like-minded people and experience the sense of accomplishment that comes from creating something with your own hands.
