Ethical Crystals Sunshine Coast is not your typical gem-shop. For a start, you’ll find crystals fossicked sustainably in Australia only. The gems have not been excavated, have had zero treatments, and are either raw or hand cut and polished by owners Izzy and Zac locally and sustainably.
And if you have ever wanted to try your hand at Fossicking, then you’ve come to the right place. Take your bestie (or even the kids) and unwind in the Sunshine Coast hinterland discovering treasure together with Izzy – a local passionate gemstone educator and Lapidary artist.
Learn how the region formed millions of years ago, creating and trapping stunning works of natural art (gemstones) within the landscape. Learn to identify a good place to search for gemstones and how to sustainably collect them, all whilst enjoying the birdsong and babbling creek echoing through the serenity.
Every participant will leave with bountiful knowledge, a QLD fossicking licence and their own fossicked stones which may include Jaspers, Quartz, Druzy, Amethyst, Agate, Tektite or Thunder-eggs.
