More than 500 fruits from all around the world are grown here on this 200-acre family farm in The Tweed Valley in Northern NSW.
Every season at Tropical Fruit World brings exotic, unusual, and delicious fruit varieties to discover, and this fully guided tour of the orchards by tractor train includes a fruit tasting experience. There are often some favourites like – passionfruit, pineapple and papaya – but you might get to try Black Sapote (chocolate pudding fruit), Babaco (champagne fruit), or Jaboticaba. It’s a Brazilian native and the fruit is carried on the trunk and inner limbs rather than on the ends of branches!
You’ll also visit the animal park to meet native and farm animal friends, plus enjoy a boat cruise through the bushland valley in the heart of the farm.
At the end of this award-winning tour, you can visit the fruit market which is packed full of all the in season fruits and products like avocado oil, medicinal teas and farm honey. The plantation cafe supplies a healthy menu inspired by farm produce and don’t forget to try out the famous fresh fruit ice-creams.
