In the stunning Adelaide Hills, Walk Sublime offers you the chance to experience horses like never before.

Walking with Horses in Kuitpo Forest goes beyond simply walking alongside horses. It’s a 2½-hour wellness journey designed just for you, where your host, Mel, intuitively pairs you with a majestic, rehomed horse to accompany you as your walking companion.

  • Begin by grounding yourself over a cup of tea with your host as you take a quiet moment to observe, become present and hear your horse’s story.

  • The trail distance will be chosen to suit you, from 1 to 8 km, through a tranquil forest. Whether it’s a quiet stroll or a longer meander, each step becomes part of a shared story — one of harmony, respect, and healing.
  • At the end of your walk you’ll receive an unexpected invitation to say goodbye to your horse in a unique and empowering way.

  • Walk Sublime has rehomed 6 horses including ex-racehorses and an Australian Brumby, providing each with forever love and care, a natural lifestyle and a strong purpose as wellness walking companions.
  • The team’s driving purpose is to bring about positive change in our world through collective wellness for horses and humans, together.
  • Sublime Intervention is Walk Sublime’s future Not-For-Profit public wellness program, with a vision of horses healing humans; humans healing horses.
