Here are four of the best upcoming wellness experiences from our What’s On Calendar that we think you should add to yours right now!
Wellness Tourism Summit

The Wellness Tourism Summit is the leading industry event in Asia Pacific and this year it’s being held over 2-days at Elements of Byron, an award-winning beach front resort in Byron Bay.
If you work as an accommodation provider, spa, retreat, nature-based attraction, a destination specialist, travel advisor, media professional, wellness supplier or practitioner - the Wellness Tourism Summit has been designed for you.
Attendees will be inspired by the carefully curated program that covers wellness trends and insights, the social wellness boom, on-farm experiences, urban wellness, immersive retreats, spas, nature-based and off-grid experiences - and so much more! With an incredible line up of speakers, it’s also the chance to connect with industry leaders within the wellness tourism space from across the country and around the globe. And of course, some complimentary wellness experiences for you to enjoy as well!
Inner Joy Retreat

The 2-night Inner Joy Retreat is the signature program at Happy Buddha Retreats in the NSW Blue Mountains and it’s been carefully designed to help you find and embrace joy, contentment and self-acceptance, and carry it forward into your daily life.
There’s opening and closing circles, daily yoga sessions (dynamic, slow flow or yin yoga), inspiring workshops and unique experiences, such as African drumming, guided meditation, and facilitator-led evening sessions. Plus, there’s plenty of free time to rest, explore nature, take a dip in the pool or relax in one of the hammocks.

Gidjuum Gulyani Multi-day Walk

On this spectacular 4-day walk you’ll travel along the Gidjuum Gulganyi Walk (or ‘Old Peoples Track’) in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland with the experienced team from Connect Adventures. They’ll do all the heavy lifting for you, so all you’ll need to carry is a daypack, with the luxury of having your gear transported between super comfortable campsites!
You’ll traverse the southeastern rim of the ancient volcano of Wollumbin in the World Heritage listed Gondwana Rainforest of Australia, walking 7-15km each day and ending at the stunning Minyon Falls. And we love that you’ll be nourished by gourmet and freshly made meals and snacks, featuring local ingredients. It’s one of the best ways we know to totally immerse in the natural beauty of Bundjalung Country.

Kangaroo Island Marathon Running Festival

The Kangaroo Island Marathon was established in 2015 and has welcomed runners representing 25 countries and every state in Australia over the past decade.
There are Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km run options and the course route carves its way through the heart of a shutdown Flinders Chase National Park, a protected area located at the west end of Kangaroo Island. This is a sanctuary for endangered species and a reserve for a range of flora and fauna.
Kangaroo Island is one of the world’s great nature-based destinations, and this annual running festival is a fabulous way to experience it!
