The Arkaba Walk with Pre-walk stay

Flinders Ranges & Outback, South Australia

The Arkaba Walk is a fully hosted, all-inclusive four-day walk in the iconic Flinders Ranges where you’re actively participating in environmental revival. You’ll see and hear the results of active conservation as you walk through the incredible landscape and meet the wildlife in the company of expert guides and a maximum of ten walkers.

The walk is graded as moderately challenging, covering about 15km per day for three walking days. There’s a support vehicle to take your gear ahead to wilderness camps, leaving you with just essentials for the day – your hat and your camera. Take a shower with the sun setting against the rocky edge of Wilpena Pound. Gather fireside for a drop of wine and count stars from your swag.

Gourmet meals are whipped up in the bush and dining around the old wool classing table on the outdoor terrace at golden hour is a special way to enjoy an evening at the Arkaba Homestead.

You’ll leave with a heightened appreciation for why the Flinders Ranges is so highly regarded by adventurers and nature lovers.
