This all-inclusive hike from Falls Creek to Mount Hotham in Victoria offers an active and unique 3-night getaway in the ‘Australian Alps’.

Breathe in the fresh air and soak up the stunning views of Mt Feathertop, across the Bogong High Plains and Basalt Temple; and walk along Razorback Ridge, arguably one of the most dramatic hiking routes in Australia. You may spot wild brumbies as you make your way across rugged landscapes and grassy alpine meadows.

The offering includes a night eco-glamping in tree top tents at Blair’s Hut Campground; pre- and post-hike stays in luxury accommodation, delicious meals and snacks plus transfers to the hike starting points. Your belongings are transported for you between sites, leaving you to enjoy the countryside with just a light day pack. Most food is cooked on the fire with a focus on local fresh organic produce.

A reasonable fitness level is essential to ensure that you enjoy the hike which includes uneven terrain.

Getting there

This hike is held on Gunaikurnai and Taungurung Country. It starts in Bright which is 3 ½ hours from Melbourne at 2 Cobden St, Bright VIC 3741.
