Cow Cuddling Co., founded by Lawrence Fox, is based on lush pastures in Goldsborough, about 40 minutes south of Cairns in Queensland.
Needing a change from his corporate career, Lawrence started spending more time on the farm and with the herd of cows. He noticed how these big, sweet animals allowed him to hug them and sit with them – and how happy it made him feel. He knew that other people could benefit from the soothing effect of being with these animals, and so Cow Cuddling Co. was born.
It\’s a cow therapy social enterprise designed to promote calmness and improvements in mental wellbeing; and to help people find employment. Lawrence employs people living with mental illness and intellectual disabilities and donates a portion of profits to a local Cancer Wellness Centre – COUCH.
Not only do people get to enjoy the amazing benefits of Cow Cuddling Therapy, but they also directly help to support those most in need in the local community and provide a safe, long-term home for the beautiful Therapy Cows.
