Alba Thermal Springs and Spa, in the heart of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, provides you the opportunity to bathe in 100% geothermal water containing naturally occurring minerals.
Saltwater bathing has been applauded for the many health benefits it provides, for both mental and physical wellbeing. Alba’s ‘The Salts’ experience will have you floating in a private rooftop salt pool. Two of the three warm shallow magnesium-rich pools feature circular skylights allowing you to float, relax and gaze up into the sky above. Whereas the third salt pool is enclosed and offers a dark and tranquil experience.
The water is heated to between 37°C and 43°C in underground aquifers 550 metres below the surface and used to fill the pools each day.
As well as access to your private salt pool, guests have access to 22 geo-thermal springs, a rain pool, botanical pools, forest pools and cold plunge pools; plus Eve – the sunset pool, all surrounded by the windswept beauty of the coastal Moonah woodland.
The Salts experience is offered between 9am – 9pm daily.
