Canning River Wetlands Kayak Tour

Perth, Western Australia

GoGo Active Tours invites you on this wonderful tour to an area few people get to explore, right in the heart of Perth in Western Australia.

The Canningvale River Wetlands is a natural park that was set aside in the 19th century. When you are paddling on your kayak you will completely forget you are so close to the city. The silence and untamed beauty of this river system is magical and the only way to experience it is from the water.

Along the way you will have time to enjoy the wildlife and learn a little about the first Australians who lived in the area and the first explorers from European nations that settled the Swan River Colony.

The tour includes a stop at the Kent Street Weir for a well-earned cafe break before heading back along the calm, sheltered waters.

We love that this tour offers people with little to no kayaking experience the opportunity to enjoy some time out on the water, connecting to nature and learning about the environment.
