Natural Dyeing & Eco Printing Workshop

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
18 Jul 26

Settle in at Rathborne Lodge within the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney for a creative winter workshop celebrating the timeless art of botanical dyeing.

Led by artist and herbalist Alacoque Dash, this immersive experience invites you to work with plant materials collected from the Botanic Gardens of Sydney. You’ll craft your own naturally dyed and eco-printed silk scarf, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake inspired by the colours, patterns and textures of the season.

Throughout the session, you’ll discover which plants can be used to create natural dyes, gain an understanding of fibre preparation, and learn simple dyeing techniques that can be replicated at home.

All materials are included, making it easy to relax, learn and create.
