Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary, on the Island of Hawai‘i, is a 30-acre property that has lovingly been brought back to life – once a cattle ranch, it is now home to a rare and thriving cloud forest ecosystem thanks to Grandpa Norman Bezona and his family.
The ‘Cloud Forest Cleanse’ Day Retreat begins with a guided Montane Jungle Trail walk, where your expert guide and naturalist will help you explore rare palms, bamboo, ferns, redwoods, and native Hawaiian birds including honeycreepers, Hawaiian hawk and pueo. This mindful 2.5-hour excursion highlights reforestation efforts, unique geology, and active conservation within the sanctuary with the purpose of ‘connecting humanity back to nature’.
Set in a serene open-air forest setting, guests are then guided through a gentle sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, vibrational instruments, and the natural soundscape of the ʻōhiʻa lehua forest, encouraging deep relaxation and energetic balance. Whether you’re new to sound baths or simply looking to recharge in nature, this experience is designed to gently bring mind and body back into balance.
This transformative day retreat offers the chance to slow down and reconnect with nature, so you can leave feeling grounded, renewed, and restored.
