3-night Culturally Curious Daintree Experience

Cairns & Great Barrier Reef, Queensland

The lush rainforests of Tropical North Queensland are the traditional lands of the Kuku Yalanji people and it’s here you’ll find the incredible Daintree Ecolodge and Wellness Spa.

Nestled in the heart of this sacred land, the Ecolodge is the perfect base to discover the spiritual significance of the world’s oldest botanical treasure and its beauty.

The ‘Culturally Curious’ package will have you staying in an eco-luxe ‘treehouse’ for 3 nights with delicious breakfasts at the onsite Julaymba restaurant.

There are two 1-day cultural experiences for you to choose from. ‘Ngana Julaymba Dungay’ explores the region from Daintree Village south, including Mossman Gorge or a freshwater stream as well as a coastal environment. Walk along the coastline with spears and learn traditional hunting techniques.

Or head north on ‘Ngana Kulkinga Dungay’, crossing the Daintree River by ferry to Cape Tribulation, stopping for guided walks and a swim in a freshwater creek.

Enhance your stay at the Ecolodge by visiting the Daintree Wellness Spa where the treatments are inspired by Indigenous wisdom and the healing properties of Australian native botanical ingredients.
